Rocky Mountain Art and Play Center
Our work is rooted in a deep understanding of neurodivergence, child development, and relational dynamics, offering practical tools for parents, educators, and caregivers to support emotional regulation, reduce behavioral challenges, and foster resilience in children
About Us
Finding Inspiration in Every Turn
Unlike traditional therapy models that focus solely on behavior management, we look deeper—helping children understand their emotions, develop self-regulation skills, and build meaningful connections with their caregivers. Our approach is evidence-based, trauma-informed, and relationship-driven, ensuring that both children and parents feel supported every step of the way.

Why Us?

1
Expertise in Child Psychology and Behavior Management
With over 18 years of experience working with children who struggle with ADHD, ODD, attachment disorders, and emotional dysregulation, we offer specialized, evidence-based interventions that go beyond traditional behavioral therapy. Our unique approach integrates Psychodynamic Therapy, Play Therapy, Expressive Arts, and Montessori-based strategies to help children build emotional regulation skills that last a lifetime.
2
Whole Child and Family and Personalized Approach
We recognize that no two children are the same. Instead of using a one-size-fits-all method, we tailor our strategies to fit each child’s needs, family dynamics, and developmental stage. Our approach focuses on identifying the root causes of behavior, teaching coping skills, and strengthening parent-child relationships, so families experience real, lasting transformation.
3
Parent Coaching for Lasting Change at Home
Helping children manage challenging behavior isn’t just about what happens in therapy—it’s about equipping parents with the right tools to reinforce positive behavior at home. We provide practical, easy-to-implement strategies that empower parents to guide their children through emotional ups and downs with confidence, creating a harmonious home environment where everyone thrives.
Raising a child with behavioral difficulties is hard.
We’re here to help.
If your child struggles with defiance, emotional outbursts, impulsivity, or attention issues, you’ve probably felt overwhelmed, isolated, and unsure of what to do next.
At Rocky Mountain Creative Center for Art and Play®, we partner with parents like you to navigate even the most difficult behavioral and emotional challenges.
We specialize in supporting families of children with ADHD, ODD, attachment disorders, anxiety, and other complex behavioral needs—through a whole-child, relationship-based approach that actually works.

Our Center
Welcome to the Rocky Mountain Creative Center for Art and Play—a nurturing, in-person clinic designed especially for kids with big emotions, big energy, and big potential.
Rooted in Depth Psychology, Jungian insight, Expressive Arts, Play Therapy, and Sandtray, our approach goes far beyond behavior management. We help children explore the deeper roots of their feelings, stories, and patterns—so they can thrive emotionally, socially, and at school.
Our clinic is a spacious, light-filled space that brings the calming power of nature indoors—with natural woods, soft greens, cozy textures, and lots of living plants. Children enter a space where play and imagination are central tools for healing, not distractions to be managed.
With shelves full of thoughtfully chosen toys, art supplies, sandtrays, and sensory tools, every child is invited to regulate, relate, and restore their emotional balance—all while building a deeper connection to their own inner world.
At the heart of our work is a fun, creative, and deeply attuned therapist who sees each child not as a problem to fix, but as a whole being with incredible capacity for growth and self-understanding.
